• A booking is confirmed only when payment is captured and you receive a confirmation email with an order number. An unpaid booking holds no seat.
• You must be 18 or older to book. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult on the tour.
• The lead booker is responsible for the accuracy of all guest details, for the whole party's conduct, and for passing our information on to the other guests.
• Some departures require a minimum number of guests. If a departure does not reach it, we cancel and refund in full, or move you to another date.

• Tour prices are set and displayed in US dollars (USD). Payment is processed by PayPal in USD; the amount shown before you pay is the amount charged.
• Your card issuer or PayPal may add its own currency conversion or foreign transaction fee. That fee is outside our control and is not refundable by us.
• Prices include what is listed under 'What's included' on the tour page. Anything under 'Not included' — meals, tickets, transport, gratuities — is your own cost.
• We may change published prices at any time. The price shown at the moment you pay is the price of your booking.

Free cancellation or date change up to 24 hours before the tour start time; no refund inside 24 hours or for a no-show. The full rules, including what happens when we cancel, are in the Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

• Arrive at the meeting point at the time stated on your voucher. Tours depart on time and we cannot wait for late guests or retrace the route for them.
• Our tours are walking tours over city pavements, hills and stairs, in all seasons. Assess your own fitness and health before booking, and tell us in advance about mobility needs, allergies or medical conditions so we can advise honestly.
• Guides may refuse or end participation, without refund, for anyone who is intoxicated, abusive, unsafe, or who disregards reasonable safety instructions or local laws.
• Itineraries may change. Sites can close, streets can be blocked and weather can turn; we substitute stops of comparable interest rather than cancel, and such substitutions are not grounds for a refund.
• You are responsible for your own belongings and for your own travel insurance. We strongly recommend cover that includes medical care and trip cancellation.

Guides sometimes take photos during a tour, and we may use them in our marketing. Tell your guide at the start if you do not wish to appear, and we will not photograph you or will remove the images on request.

We take reasonable care in operating our tours and we are liable for loss caused by our own negligence or wilful misconduct. We are not liable for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control — weather, strikes, transport disruption, government action, illness, third-party suppliers — or by your own acts or omissions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Korean law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Where our liability is limited, it is capped at the amount you paid for the booking.

Text, photographs, itineraries, the Seoul Genius name and the mascot are our property or licensed to us; you may not reuse them commercially without written permission. You agree not to interfere with the website, scrape it at scale, or attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.

Reviews you submit may be published with your first name and country. We may hide content that is unlawful, abusive, or identifies other guests or staff without consent. You keep ownership of what you write and grant us a licence to display it.

We may update these terms. The version in force for your booking is the version published on the day you paid. Material changes are announced on this page with a new update date.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes that cannot be resolved between us are subject to the jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live. We aim to answer any complaint sent to hi@seoulgenius.com within 3 business days.
